We are seeking a visionary leader who dreams of redefining hospitality in the very heart of Oslo. When Savoy 1918 reopens in the spring of 2026 after a complete renovation, it will once again take its place as one of the city’s true icons. To lead this journey, we are now looking for a General Manager with ambition, personality, and a genuine passion for the unique.

This is more than a career move – it is a rare chance to write the next chapter of Norwegian hotel history. At Universitetsgata 11, we are creating 92 exclusive rooms, two innovative food and beverage concepts, and experiences designed to be remembered. The hotel will embody style, quality, and individuality. High-end, yet never rigid – we believe in details, design, and hospitality with a spark of personality.

Your role as General Manager

As General Manager, you will be the face of Savoy – and carry the ultimate responsibility for both operations and commercial growth. You will be entrusted with a rare canvas: a newly restored, historic landmark in the heart of Oslo – and the freedom to shape it into something truly extraordinary.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for operations, finance, and personnel

• Develop the hotel as a venue for experiences, with a focus on culture, food, and drink

• Deliver unique guest experiences and ensure top quality at every level

• Build and lead a strong team – and be an attractive employer for the best in the industry

• Establish and nurture partnerships with key players in the city’s cultural scene

Desired qualifications and qualities:

• Several years of leadership experience in the hotel or restaurant industry

• Strong commercial understanding and ability to work both strategically and operationally

• You love numbers – and can demonstrate measurable results

• Relevant higher education is an advantage, but not a requirement

• Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language
