Thirty miles out from the Norwegian coast, a secluded cluster of islands rises up from the sea. Jagged peaks pierce the horizon, shaped by the winds, the waves and the endless sea. Welcome to Ytri — a place where untamed nature meets serene tranquility.
Ytri will be a high-end landscape hotel featuring 38 rooms and suites, a lounge, bar, restaurant, meeting rooms, co-working space, sauna, wellness area, boathouse, guest harbor, and a sandy beach. The hotel is designed to be a destination in itself, with architecture inspired by the fishing village culture along the coast.

Executive Head Chef

As Executive Head Chef, you will have overall responsibility for the hotel's kitchen, where taste, sustainability, quality, and creativity are at the center. You will ensure and develop the food culture and highlight the unique ingredients from Træna, focusing on premium produce from the sea – from local fishermen and gatherers. Through inspiring leadership and operational excellence, you will create efficient operations and unique guest experiences.

Arbeidsoppgaver

Lead and Inspire Your Team and build and develop a strong, motivated, and passionate kitchen team.
Ensure High Quality with maintain hygiene and safety standards, ensuring that the food offerings are of the highest caliber.
Optimize Operations and take ownership of budgets, cost control, and resource utilization to achieve profitability.
Focus on Sustainability and reduce food waste and implement environmentally friendly solutions that align with the hotel’s profile.
Collaborate with Leadership and plan and deliver premium experiences for the hotel’s guests.
Responsible for the hotel’s large greenhouse and developing and conducting food courses for our guests.

Kvalifikasjoner

You have several years of experience as a head chef or sous chef, a culinary certification or equivalent international education, and documented leadership experience. You are motivated by sustainability, working with the world’s best ingredients from the sea, and developing something new and unique.
